G MASS is seeking a skilled Senior Data Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our insurance clients in Central London.

This is a 6-month contract position offering a competitive salary of £85k, with a hybrid work arrangement (approximately 3 days in the office).

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of data governance, controls, systems, process flows, and operational models for our clients.
  • Review clients' existing data and control frameworks, including roles and responsibilities within their organizations.
  • Develop comprehensive Data Target Operating Models (TOMs) to optimize data management strategies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current data processes and implement remediation plans to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Share your expertise and market knowledge of best practices in data governance and analysis with the team.
  • Standardize data analysis processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all client portfolios.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data governance, controls, systems, process flows, and operational models within the insurance industry.
  • A strong focus on assessing data quality, integrity, and security.
  • In-depth understanding of premium, claims, and cash flow processes within an insurance context.
  • Experience working with coverholders and a deep understanding of Lloyd's market operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
