Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to lead our Tech Art Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our projects and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2 artists and provide guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our project pipelines and tools, including UE5 and Python.
- Collaborate with other Development Directors to drive innovation and excellence across the studio.
- Work closely with the mocap team to ensure seamless integration of motion capture data into our projects.
- Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of work that showcases your skills and experience.
- Participate in a 4-stage interview process, all on one day onsite in Cambridge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Art Director or similar role.
- Expert-level skills in UE5, Character/Facial rigging, and Python.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong portfolio of work that showcases your skills and experience.
