Join Our Team as a Mental Health Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Learning Support Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a leading SEN School in Horsham that supports primary and secondary boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Support pupils in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Child-only DBS registered on the update service (required)

Location:

Due to the school's location, having your own transport is highly advantageous.
