Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a school in Slinfold. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to supporting students with their educational journey and thriving in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, catering to their individual needs and ensuring their academic and personal growth.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of classroom activities, personalized learning plans, and student assessments.
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant within state or independent schools is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with transferable skills from backgrounds such as residential support worker, care worker, or individual needs assistant are also welcome to apply.
  • A genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health issues).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young learners.
