About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at a Good rated, modern, purpose built Hospital. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
Main Responsibilities
Working as part of a multidisciplinary Theatre Team, you will be responsible for the perioperative care of patients, including the preparation, maintenance, and recovery phases. You will also be involved in the ordering, receiving, and transfer of blood and blood products, as well as blood conservation.
Requirements
- Part 1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience in Scrub or Anaesthetics.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current research and developments in theatre practice, with a sound understanding of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
