Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity awaits at Nirvana Spa for a distinctive position within Gym 108. Are you passionate about guiding, inspiring, and coaching individuals towards a healthier lifestyle? Can you blend your enthusiasm for fitness with a comprehensive approach to well-being?

A Fitness Coach will relish working with diverse individuals, showcasing a warm and approachable demeanor, while being attuned to the unique needs of clients across various age groups and fitness levels. This position demands a high degree of professionalism that aligns with the exceptional standards upheld by Nirvana Spa.

Upon meeting the necessary qualifications and completing a qualifying period, there may also be opportunities to conduct Personal Training (PT) Sessions for clients, utilizing our facilities outside of regular working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties associated with this role include:

  • Providing a superior level of interaction with members and visitors during gym supervision hours.
  • Designing and conducting high-quality small and large group exercise sessions.
  • Delivering engaging and effective one-on-one sessions, ensuring that individual goals and needs are addressed.
  • Maintaining high cleanliness standards in the environment through daily and weekly tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) standards by performing regular checks.
  • Completing daily tasks, including brand standards evaluations.
  • Executing club opening and closing procedures as part of a balanced shift pattern.
  • Being available for a flexible shift schedule, including early, late, and day shifts, as well as alternate weekends.
  • Supervising and coaching within the Dead Sea Salt Therapy (DSST) Pool at Nirvana Spa.
  • Adapting to the evolving needs of the business.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) qualifications such as Sports Therapy, GP Referral, and Postural Analysis.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented role.
  • A genuine passion for customer interaction and service.
  • High motivation levels with the ability to inspire and uplift others.
  • A flexible and adaptable work approach.
  • A proactive mindset.
  • Confidence in working with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Energy and enthusiasm.
  • The capability to serve as a role model for our members, embodying a healthy lifestyle while at work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (Level 3 is advantageous).
