Hostel Support Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hostel Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis at St Andrews Hostel in Kilmarnock. As a Hostel Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting service users with integration into the hostel environment and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a range of duties to support service users, including providing guidance and assistance with daily tasks and activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the Council's key objectives and deliver services that meet the needs of service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote integration and community engagement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a PVG Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with service users and colleagues.
Working Arrangements
This is a casual post, and you will be required to work on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs of the service. The hourly rate for this post is £13.59 per hour.
