Position Overview:
A Cultural Heritage Structural Engineer is sought to join a reputable Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy. This firm is known for its diverse portfolio of projects that vary significantly in scale and complexity.

Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in engineering, with a minimum of one year of post-Chartership experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and mentoring team members within the office environment.
  • Leading various projects and fostering client relationships, particularly within the residential sector.
  • Conducting structural design calculations across multiple materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.

Technical Proficiency:
Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of technical design software, including:

  • Tekla
  • CADS
  • Tedds

Additionally, the ability to produce basic AutoCAD drawings when necessary is essential. A strong background in building structures and a good working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards for the design of temporary structures is required.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive remuneration package, including:
