Business Overview

Zanda is supporting a pioneering B2B software company as they seek to appoint a seasoned Board Advisor to support the business and its CEO during its next phase of growth. The company has received backing from top-tier investors and is now preparing for a Series C funding round.

The business has undergone restructuring in the past 18 months and currently employs approximately 180 people. With a strong revenue foundation, the company aims to reach its growth projections within the next 12 months and achieve profitability by 2025.

Key Responsibilities

This Board Advisory role will involve providing strategic guidance to the CEO and executive team, helping to shape and refine business strategies. The successful candidate will offer insights on go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and scaling techniques to drive the business towards its revenue target of £30 million.

The role requires a commitment of 1 day per month, with quarterly board meetings. As a Board Advisor, you will provide hands-on guidance, share your expertise, and serve as a sounding board for the CEO and senior leadership team.

Requirements

This role is ideal for an accomplished entrepreneur who has successfully scaled a business to over £50 million in turnover, particularly within the B2B services or software industry. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in navigating challenging economic climates and possess a robust network within the venture capital community.

Previous experience in a board advisory or chair role would be highly desirable, with a focus on growth, go-to-market strategies, leadership support, and business development.
