PIMCO is a global leader in active fixed income with deep expertise across public and private markets. Main Focus/Position Responsibilities

The Alternatives Strategist will play a key role in driving the further development of PIMCO's alternatives business and range of offerings. This will involve working with functional specialist groups across the firm to execute on distribution strategy, serving as a proxy for portfolio managers in speaking to clients and consultants about PIMCO's alternatives strategies, and partnering with business leaders and investment teams across PIMCO to execute on distribution strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth of PIMCO's alternatives business
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and investment teams to develop and execute distribution strategies
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on alternative investment strategies to clients and consultants
  • Collaborate with business leaders and functional specialist groups to drive the development of PIMCO's alternatives business
Requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive professional experience in alternatives, with a strong track record of developing business and deep knowledge of alternative investment strategies and private fund documentation. Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as are abilities to navigate systems and work effectively in Excel. A solid grounding in fixed income and a CFA or similar qualification are important.
