Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Farnham Park Health Group. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed professional with a strong background in primary care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support General Practitioners in delivering high-quality patient care using advanced autonomous clinical skills.
  • Assist with same-day triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses.
  • Manage and care for patients with long-term conditions, prescribing and reviewing medication as necessary.
  • Provide information and advice on prescribed medications, side effects, and interactions.
  • Maintain a flexible approach and work collaboratively with other clinical team members.
Key Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with the NMC.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Recent experience in primary care, community, or emergency settings.
  • Ability to assess and manage patient risk effectively and safely.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Recognized ANP/MSC qualification at a minimum of degree level or equivalent.
  • Independent prescriber.
  • Development of areas of clinical expertise.
