Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and driven individual to become a part of our Finance Team as a full-time Financial Operations Specialist.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract, requiring presence 2-3 days a week at our Hartlepool Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reconciliations for bank and payment channels.
- Ensure the accuracy and timely dispatch of all client invoices.
- Execute month-end procedures to guarantee precise financial reporting, including month-end journals, analysis of accruals/prepayments, and standardized financial reports.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
- Assist in the formulation of Budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the organization.
- Undertake additional related tasks as necessary.
- Provide support to the Commercial Manager and collaborate with other team members.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an accounting role or a similar position.
- AAT Qualified.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with department heads through various communication channels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
