About the Role

Sunny Recruitment is representing a well-established family-owned business specializing in Civil Engineering and Facilities Management. We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert civil engineering support for various projects during both the bidding and execution phases.
  • Contribute to the engineering and design aspects of contract proposals and modifications for both new and ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and subcontractor partners to ensure project success.
  • Develop comprehensive commercial estimates and cost plans.
  • Conduct setting out and surveying tasks as required.
  • Assist in the formulation of project estimates.
  • Engage with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to facilitate project delivery.
  • Participate in contract and internal governance reviews to uphold project standards.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in the civil construction sector, demonstrating a commitment to health and safety protocols. While a degree in civil engineering is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. A minimum of a HNC/D or equivalent NVQ in civil engineering is essential.
