Role Overview

As the Director of Operations at NPG, you will oversee the operational framework that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of our property management and development initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in driving the strategic vision and expansion of NPG. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, you will lead the operations department, implement robust processes, and ensure alignment with NPG's strategic objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing operational performance, resource utilization, and supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement operational strategies that align with NPG's business goals, identifying areas for improvement and fostering innovative solutions.
  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, establishing policies, implementing changes, and ensuring compliance with property regulations.
  • Assess overall company performance in property management and development, providing reports to the Co-Founders and assisting in strategic planning.
  • Develop strategies to minimize losses, reduce operational costs, and enhance employee productivity.
  • Understand budget development and financial planning to improve revenue margins from property investments.
  • Manage key operational projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams to promote high performance and engagement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of efficient processes and workflows, monitoring operational procedures and applying corrective actions as needed.
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, developing and maintaining risk management policies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational performance against set targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Lettings, Marketing, HR, and Finance, to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction through quality control measures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to drive operational innovation.
  • Implement new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, preferably within property management or real estate.
  • Extensive background in strategic planning, process optimization, and resource management.
  • Successful track record in leading high-performing teams and driving organizational growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and business insight.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in operational and project management software, including CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Deep understanding of the real estate market and current trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
