About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Administration Clerk to join our Patient and Administration contact centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient data, and contributing to the smooth operation of our contact centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Booking and validating outpatient appointments and surgeries
  • Supporting access to healthcare records requests
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve high-quality patient care and service delivery
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Utilizing computer systems and Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, to manage patient data and administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced contact centre setting, preferably in the NHS
  • Excellent understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift patterns, and be available to work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 20:00
