Ship Repair Supervisor

A&P Group, Falmouth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Engineering team at our Falmouth facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all work is performed to required standards, adhering to ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and safety, preparing written risk assessments and identifying requirements for safe work completion.
- Work with Project/Ship Managers, ship's staff, sub-contractors, and other Supervisors to monitor workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure optimal resource and material use.
- Ensure compliance by all employees, monitoring policies and procedures, and training, mentoring, and supporting the team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- A qualified engineer with experience in the ship building/repair, marine industry, or a similar heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings.
- Leadership experience in a supervisory or similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively supervise the team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Minimum 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- 4% pension contribution and a generous death in service benefit.
Due to the nature of our work, some roles may be subject to security control restrictions. All successful candidates must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
