We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in a leading recruitment agency, Blakemore Recruitment, who are looking to recruit a skilled Financial Planning Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new business transactions
  • Handle client inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure timely and accurate responses
  • Assist with pension transfer work and drawdown-related matters
  • Support financial advisors with their queries
  • Enter data into client databases
  • Conduct research on group schemes, generate quotations, and prepare renewal letters
  • Prepare regular client valuations
  • Complete policy questionnaires, particularly for pension-related matters
  • Perform general office duties as needed
  • Adhere to company procedures and ensure all work is conducted in a timely and compliant manner

Systems and Software:

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel to an intermediate level
  • Familiarity with Intelligent Office (back office system) or similar software
  • Working knowledge of financial platforms, including Quilter, Aviva, Ascentric, and Aegon ARC
  • Knowledge of IRESS is a plus but not essential

Personal Specification:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Confident and analytical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills, organized, effective time management, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Logical approach to requests, adaptable, and flexible
  • Industry qualifications are a plus but not required
