About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence, Insight and Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation through the development and deployment of analytical products.

As a Junior Analyst, you will work closely with your colleagues to plan, build and maintain high-quality analytical products for a varied customer base. You will be responsible for analysis and report development involving a large range of datasets and use analytical techniques to support decision making, improve data quality, and improve performance and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of relevant technical skills including, but not limited to, SQL, Excel, and Power BI. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and deployment of analytical products
  • Conduct analysis and report development involving large datasets
  • Use analytical techniques to support decision making and improve data quality
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and maintain high-quality analytical products
  • Participate in meetings and provide information, advice, and support as needed

Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience
  • Awareness of data sensitivities and the importance of information governance
  • Experience of working with SQL, Excel, and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills
