We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Mental Health 111/Single Point of Access team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief clinical risk and mental health assessments, triage, and formulation via telephone.
  • Work with clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns, using evidence-based psychological interventions to de-escalate crisis and promote positive mental health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure effective communication and care planning.
Requirements
  • Registered healthcare professional with postgraduate experience in mental health assessment and treatment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse client groups.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological therapies and their application in clinical practice.
