As a Legal Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our solicitors and legal executives in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors and legal executives in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Organise and maintain legal files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation for meetings, hearings, and trials, including arranging logistics and compiling relevant materials
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical and professional standards
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and legal procedures relevant to the practice areas of the firm
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the efficient functioning of the legal team and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the legal department

About You

To be successful as a Legal Assistant with Loomis International, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law or Legal Studies
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role is highly beneficial
  • Good knowledge of the UK legal system and procedures is required
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software applications
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness to pursue further professional development and training opportunities

You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit, and ID checks

You must have verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history
