We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented legal professional to join our legal team at Loomis International.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our solicitors and legal executives in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for law to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors and legal executives in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Organise and maintain legal files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence
- Assist in the preparation for meetings, hearings, and trials, including arranging logistics and compiling relevant materials
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical and professional standards
- Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and legal procedures relevant to the practice areas of the firm
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the efficient functioning of the legal team and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the legal department
About You
To be successful as a Legal Assistant with Loomis International, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Law or Legal Studies
- Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role is highly beneficial
- Good knowledge of the UK legal system and procedures is required
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software applications
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Willingness to pursue further professional development and training opportunities

You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit, and ID checks
You must have verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history
