Senior Supply Chain Manager

Amazon's Supply Chain Managers play a pivotal role in our global business, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams to Retail teams, to optimize our supply chains and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies for various businesses
  2. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency across supply chains
  3. Partner with teams to resolve operational challenges and advise on process improvements
  4. Support project planning and organization, focusing on complex logistics and supply chain initiatives
  5. Optimize processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce costs
  6. Collaborate with Operational site management, Retail, Transportation partners, and support teams to drive strategic decisions and improve supply chain planning and execution
A Day in the Life

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for navigating complex challenges and driving Amazon's supply chain operations forward. You will work closely with various teams to resolve issues, forecast, and plan for new projects, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) specializes in heavy and bulky items, such as furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns. We are expanding our specialist fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.

Requirements
  1. Experience in supply chain management and logistics
  2. Experience in program or project management, with a focus on supply chain optimization
  3. Ability to analyze data and drive improvements using metrics and data-driven insights
  4. Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  5. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and data links
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, or a related field
  2. Experience leading process improvements and driving change initiatives
  3. Intermediate knowledge of SQL, including query compilation and data modification
