Head of Operations & Supply Chain

47 Skin is a leading skin care brand that prioritizes skin positivity. We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as Head of Operations & Supply Chain.

As a result of our continued growth and significant investment in brand positioning and route to market, we're embarking on a clear product and target audience strategy. This role will play a crucial part in creating amazing products, engaging content, and generating high lifetime value.

Reporting to our Operations Director, you will be a natural leader who can get the best from our in-house operations team and partners. You will work closely with the Operations Director to assess and implement new systems, processes, and best practices to ensure our operations capability remains suitable for keeping pace with the growth of the business.

You'll be responsible for managing our POs, suppliers, deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock/turnover in our ERP. You'll lead the supply chain to ensure Goods-In and onsite stock levels always meet the needs of the business/demand creation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse returns reasons with the wider business to eliminate regular shipping and customer purchasing errors.
  • Control inbound delivery processes.
  • Use computer software to track goods from origin to delivery.
  • Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance.
  • Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality.
  • Ensure you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain both in volume and legal/moral manufacturing/sourcing processes.
  • Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.
  • Manage and minimise the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain.
  • Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' proven supply chain management/leadership within an omnichannel FMCG brand.
  • Proven international/cross border experience moving stock/inventory from multiple suppliers in multiple locations to distribution centres in multiple locations.
  • Advanced Excel skills essential.

We're looking for a skilled professional who is independent and self-directed but able to work and lead a team of creative individuals. You should be happy to travel to local/global fulfilment centres as needed. Working knowledge with the major Retail & Customer Service OMS, WMS, ERP & Middleware systems is essential.
