Job Summary

The Deputy Head of Finance will play a key role in the financial management of East Ayrshire Council, ensuring the effective administration of financial affairs and the promotion of excellent financial management practices.

  • Act as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the proper administration of financial affairs in accordance with Section 95 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act.

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Service Support Plan and the Community Plan to promote and deliver key objectives.

Requirements
