Accounting and Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and Compensation Specialist to join our team at TJX Europe. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for the management and development of our payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payrolls across all of our European markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the payroll team and third-party service providers to deliver high-quality payrolls and maintain a control environment that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in payroll operations, including the implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Manage the performance of third-party payroll providers, ensuring that they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver high-quality services.
- Prepare and report all statutory filing requirements, including P11d's, PSA, STBV, and CSOP, for all European markets.
- Provide management reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Oversee the management of department resources and manage the calendar of events.
- Recruit, train, and develop the payroll team, setting objectives and providing feedback and support for performance improvement and annual performance reviews.
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a retail or service centre environment.
- Experience of leading payroll systems implementations and transformation processes.
- Previous experience of managing third-party payroll providers and stakeholder management.
- Diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of expats into and across Europe.
- Experience in compensation and benefits, including job banding/matching and analysis.
