Product Manager - Signo Readers

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the end-to-end management of our flagship HID Signo readers within the Physical Access Control Solution (PACS) reader portfolio.

About the Role

This is an inter-disciplinary position that bridges product development, operational, commercial, and support teams to provide best-in-class products and customer experience.

The successful candidate will have experience in product management with an emphasis on electro-mechanical and embedded firmware systems, within the RFID and physical access control industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile SAFe methodologies to drive revenue growth and/or profitability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for the Signo product line.
  • Lead product development from concept to product launch.
  • Manage product lifecycle planning, including product development, launch, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, product requirements documents, and product specifications.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage product-related budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree beneficial but not required).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management with an emphasis on electro-mechanical and embedded firmware systems.
  • Experience with Agile development and lean innovation practices.
  • Training in SAFe such as Implementing SAFe and/or SAFe POPM.
  • Effective communication in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce, Oracle-EBS, Oracle-PLM, etc.
  • Experience with product development and product management tools, such as Jira, TestRail, and Miro is beneficial.
