About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Central Cheshire Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, clinical risk assessment and management, and a willingness to complete further training and development. You will be an experienced clinician with a recognized qualification in a relevant discipline, such as nursing, social work, or allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities will include undertaking mental health assessments, providing interventions and formulations to address the needs of the client group, and working with children and young people who present with a level of clinical risk. You will also be expected to work under pressure and in a demanding, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and thinking on your feet.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,392 to £42,618 per annum (pro rata), as well as a range of benefits, including a relocation package of up to £8,000 for anyone who needs to relocate to take up employment with CWP. We also offer up to three weeks' induction, dependent on role, with our Prepare to Care programme for all new starters.
