Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist

About the Role
Cygnet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and therapy to individuals and groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to inform treatment plans
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to individuals with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
- Evaluate the service and contribute to its development and clinical research
- Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist
- Experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
- Training in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT
- Passion for working with individuals with complex mental health needs
- Ability to treat difficulties such as self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug and alcohol problems
