About the Role

Cygnet is seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, therapy, and training to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to service users
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide therapy to individuals and groups
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
  • Evaluate the service and contribute to its development
  • Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist
  • Experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
  • Training in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT
  • Passion for working with people with complex mental health needs
