Job Title: Operational Team Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Team Manager to join our Safeguarding team at Hull City Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading an integrated multi-disciplinary team to empower adults to take control of their lives and protect themselves from neglect or abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day operational management of the safeguarding hub (MASH)
  • Support and develop staff to promote choice and person-centred support
  • Drive a culture of good practice and improvement, focusing on the 6 core safeguarding principles of the Care Act 2014
  • Establish professional, effective working relationships with partners, colleagues, adults, families, and their carers
  • Provide expert advice to operational teams, senior managers, and elected members on safeguarding-related issues
