Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and supervision of the operational night shift team within the unit. You will coordinate activities and resources to meet weekly and daily production requirements, offering practical instruction, guidance, and support to staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the operational night shift team to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Allocate work and provide guidance and support to staff to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure that all items are prepared, inspected, assembled, and packaged in accordance with defined user specifications.
  • Monitor and verify the decontamination process to ensure compliance with standards and protocols.
  • Coordinate the preparation, assembly, and packaging of instrumentation sets to meet user specifications.
  • Ensure that staff are aware of and comply with standards, protocols, and guidance relating to Sterile Services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and supervise a team to meet production requirements. You will also need to have a strong understanding of sterile services protocols and procedures.
