We offer unique private market investment strategies that encompass venture capital, growth equity, and private equity. Role Responsibilities

We are in search of an entrepreneurial individual to join our emerging investment firm and collaborate closely with our founders. The founding team boasts complementary expertise in alternative investing, entrepreneurship, and wealth management, comprising founders of billion-dollar enterprises and senior professionals from prestigious investment firms and financial institutions.

As a Founder's Associate, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of an investment office and contribute significantly to Spheres's growth. Your role will involve working on diverse projects, primarily focusing on investment activities and ecosystem development, as well as fundraising initiatives. You will also co-lead long-term strategic projects in close partnership with the founding team. This position is ideal for a proactive self-starter with a keen interest in cross-asset class investments, eager to cultivate a personal network within the European entrepreneurial landscape.

Depending on your personal growth trajectory, there may be opportunities for you to evolve into a full investing, platform, or operational leadership role at Spheres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Activities
    • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across venture, growth, and private equity sectors, including both direct and fund investments.
    • Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and financial modeling to support investment evaluations.
    • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other essential documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ecosystem Development & Fundraising
    • Support the growth of Spheres's ecosystem by leveraging the team's network and various data sources to identify promising European entrepreneurs across diverse domains and stages.
    • Act as a key point of contact for investors, syndicating targeted investment opportunities and organizing curated events tailored to our investor base.
    • Assist in fundraising efforts by engaging with current and prospective investors, monitoring ongoing processes, and preparing relevant materials.
    • Help develop and implement a differentiated framework to streamline and enhance Spheres' ecosystem and fundraising initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Co-lead long-term strategic initiatives in collaboration with the founders.
    • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
    • Contribute to operational workflows where additional support is required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A university degree from a reputable institution, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; an MBA is also applicable.
  • Previous experience in an asset management role (private equity/venture capital fund, wealth management, or hedge fund) and/or advisory capacity (investment banking, consultancy), ideally in an investing or client-facing position.
  • A self-sufficient and proactive individual who is comfortable addressing unstructured challenges.
  • A strong interest in cross-asset investing and adaptability in thought processes.
  • A collaborative individual who seeks to build networks and partnerships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to engage with a variety of new challenges.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German, Italian, or other European languages is advantageous.
