Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to join our East Early Intervention for Psychosis team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the chance to enhance your clinical skills in this specialist field and contribute to the national agenda of intervening early in the development of psychosis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Hold a share of the team caseload in line with EIP guidelines and work to a high standard in engaging with and educating clients and their support network.
  • Benefit from regular supervision and monthly service-focused CPD events.
  • Support suitable clinicians in training in Family Intervention and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis.

Requirements
  • BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience of working with patients with complex needs.
  • Relevant post-graduate experience in specialist areas such as AMPS, sensory integration, DBT, CBT, MOHOST, or ALLENS cognitive scales.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working with those with a First Episode of Psychosis.
  • Group work skills facilitation training.
