Job Description

At OW Ocean Winds, we are seeking a highly skilled Settlement and Reporting Specialist to join our Commercial Asset Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our offshore windfarm portfolio in Scotland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Settlement Process Management: Manage timely settlement processes related to our offshore wind projects, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Contracts for Difference (CFDs).
  • Commercial Asset Management: Prepare project processes for commercial asset management, ensuring seamless integration with our operations and asset management teams.
  • Budget and Business Planning: Support the Asset Director in delivering budgets and business plans, driving asset value and commercial growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with external stakeholders, including IMServe, Elexon, PPA Offtakers, and LCCC, to oversee daily settlement operations for offshore wind energy transactions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze settlement data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, providing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Automated Settlement Solutions: Assist in the development and implementation of automated settlement solutions, ensuring efficient and accurate data processing.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain accurate records and documentation for commercial asset management activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Requirements
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Proven experience in data analysis and reporting in the energy sector.
  • Trading and Contract Settlement: Experience in trading and contract settlement in the energy sector.
  • UK CfD Regime and PPA Contract Market: Strong understanding of the UK CfD regime and PPA contract market.
  • Financial Software and PowerBI: Proficiency in financial software, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Commercial Activities and Processes: An understanding of commercial activities and processes, with a proactive approach to value creation and risk mitigation.
Location and Working Arrangements

Based in Edinburgh, with the possibility of flexible working arrangements and travel to operational sites and other stakeholders' offices required from time to time.
