This role involves providing strategic guidance on complex issues related to airports and various elements of the aviation and transport infrastructure sectors, particularly in transaction-related projects.

Your work will encompass diverse analyses that aid decision-making within the aviation industry, including advising investors looking to acquire airport ownership and assisting management teams in enhancing the profitability of their aviation-related ventures.

Key Qualifications

  • A degree in a field with robust analytical components such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operational Research, or Geography.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to produce high-quality advisory reports for clients in the aviation sector, particularly airport operators, investors, and lenders.
  • Experience in conducting technical analyses, report writing, and delivering presentations to clients.
  • Capability to assist in crafting effective, high-quality proposals for clients.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with team members on projects requiring timely delivery of quality results.
  • Contributions to the development of technical disciplines, including innovative uses of new data types.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without requiring employer sponsorship.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated success in supporting consultancy projects to completion.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the global aviation sector dynamics, particularly in areas like air traffic forecasting or airport business planning.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, report writing, and communication capabilities.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, ideally in a supportive capacity.
  • Previous experience with consultancies, airport operators, investors, financial institutions, airlines, or regulators in strategy-oriented roles.

Additional Assets

  • Experience in providing advisory services for aviation sector transactions.
  • Fluency in a European or other prominent language aside from English.
  • Possession of an advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA.
  • Familiarity with big data management techniques.
  • Knowledge of sustainability issues within the aviation sector.
