Role Overview

This position involves providing strategic advice on complex issues related to airports and the broader aviation and transport infrastructure sectors, particularly in transaction-related assignments.
This role presents an opportunity to deliver top-tier consultancy to airport operators, investors, lenders, airlines, and regulatory bodies worldwide. Your work will encompass a variety of analyses to facilitate informed decision-making in the aviation sector, including guidance for investors looking to acquire airport ownership and support for management teams aiming to enhance the profitability of their aviation-related businesses.

Key Qualifications

  • A degree in a field with substantial analytical components such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operational Research, or Geography.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Ability to produce high-quality advisory content for clients in the aviation sector, particularly for airport operators, investors, and lenders.
  • Experience in conducting technical analyses, preparing reports, and delivering presentations to clients.
  • Capability to assist in developing effective, high-quality proposals for clients.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with team members on projects requiring timely and quality outputs.
  • Involvement in technical discipline development, including innovative uses of new data types.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without employer sponsorship.

Core Competencies

  • Proven track record in successfully supporting consultancy projects.
  • Solid understanding of the global aviation sector dynamics, ideally in areas such as air traffic forecasting or airport business planning.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication abilities.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, likely in a supportive capacity.
  • Previous experience with a consultancy, airport operator, investor, financial institution, airline, or regulatory body in a strategy-oriented role.

Additional Skills

  • Experience in advising on transactions within the aviation sector.
  • Fluency in a European or other prominent language aside from English.
  • An advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA.
  • Familiarity with big data management techniques.
  • Knowledge of sustainability issues in aviation.
