Lead Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all critical plant and machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimise operational uptime and minimise downtime.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks.
  3. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of teamwork and technical excellence.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering Qualification: A recognised engineering qualification (electrical or mechanical) with strong multiskilled knowledge.
  2. Senior Maintenance Experience: Proven experience in a senior maintenance role, ideally within a heavy industry or similar manufacturing environment.
  3. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  4. Health and Safety: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
