About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water and Wastewater Design Team Lead to join our dynamic Water Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams and shaping the future of water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the technical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects with multi-disciplinary knowledge, including treatment schemes and/or pipeline design.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary design teams and perform line manager duties for several staff, supporting the development of junior team members and mentoring them.
  • Collaborate with top-tier civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to deliver a variety of captivating projects, from small initiatives to large-scale ventures.
  • Develop and implement feasibility studies, options appraisal, and concept design, as well as outline and detailed design for water company clients and design and build contractors.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects with multi-disciplinary knowledge, ideally including treatment schemes and/or pipeline design.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role for a water company or consultancy.
  • A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g. civil, electrical, mechanical) and/or equivalent experience.
