Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to embark on a rewarding Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Carmela Coady Childcare.

Carmela Coady Childcare provides a nurturing home-like environment where children thrive through play and interaction. Their commitment is to empower each child to reach their full potential in a safe, stimulating, and fun setting that encourages exploration and learning.

This apprenticeship presents an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in childcare. You'll gain invaluable practical experience while working alongside experienced and qualified childcare professionals in a smaller, more intimate setting.

Your Responsibilities as an Apprentice:
  • Contribute to the daily operations of the childcare facility.
  • Collaborate in planning and setting up engaging activities for children, ensuring their active participation and enjoyment.
  • Observe children's development and provide support during outings and within the setting.
  • Actively seek opportunities to gain practical experience throughout the apprenticeship program.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment within the childcare facility.
  • Assist with safety checks and procedures.
  • Stay current with all coursework requirements.
  • Provide assistance to children with bathroom needs and diaper changes.
Working Hours:
  • Carmela Coady Childcare operates from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • The successful candidate will work between 30-35 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns to be discussed.
Desired Qualities:
  • Demonstrate flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and prior experience caring for children is highly preferred.
Requirements:
  • Ideally, you will have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
