Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the daily operations of the childcare setting, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Observe and assist children during activities, both in the setting and on outings.
- Gain practical experience and develop skills in childcare, working alongside experienced professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized setting, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Support children with daily routines, including bathroom assistance and nappy changing.
Requirements:
- GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent.
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential for this role.
Working Hours:
- Carmela Coady Childcare is open from 7:30am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- The successful candidate will work up to 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
Personal Qualities:
- Flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn, with excellent communication skills.
- A good understanding of the EYFS and experience in childcare are preferred.
