Principal Social Worker

Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Social Worker to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our Emergency Duty Team, you will work full-time to provide expert support and guidance to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and plan support for individuals with complex family or social care needs, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks and policies.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide help and support to families at risk of abuse or neglect.
- Work with children, young people, and families to improve their lives and promote autonomy and development.
- Carry out assessments and plan responses to safeguard individuals from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Arrange alternative care arrangements for individuals who cannot care for themselves.
- Promote the development of individuals with complex social needs, including those with learning disabilities.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality records of activity on cases.
- Participate in planning and decision-making forums, including case discussions and strategy meetings.
- Act as a Practice Educator or Assessor for social work students and newly qualified social workers.
- Contribute to the development of organisational capability through training and development.
- A social work qualification or equivalent.
- Continual professional development.
- Social Work England registration.
- Experience within Adult Social Work.
