Job Purpose:


The primary objective of this role is to assist in service operations, including installation and troubleshooting, ensuring the region operates efficiently and profitably by fulfilling customer expectations within established timelines.

This position involves working with large-scale, high-end integrated surveillance control systems for a diverse clientele, necessitating adaptability, a proactive approach, and occasional travel away from home.


Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:
Deliver reliable, courteous, and efficient service.
Uphold a positive company image through high standards of appearance and communication.
Document and update helpdesk records after each service visit.
Ensure company vehicles are maintained in good condition.
Comply with company Management Systems.
Participate in the call-out rota.

Field Responsibilities:
Maintenance and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems.
Care and upkeep of operational and managed control rooms.
Maintenance and repair of multi-site Access Control Systems.
Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems.
Conduct planned preventative maintenance.
Occasional overnight stays.
Participate in the call-out rota.

Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of CCTV, IT, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems.
Proficient knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering.
Familiarity with DVR & NVR systems.

Desirable knowledge in areas such as Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUICEM Access Control, SynergyVideo, Matrix Systems, IP Systems, Networks, Raid Recording, and first-line repairs on Gates and Barriers.

Experience in CCTV, Auto Electricals, or Electronics.
Excellent communication abilities.
Basic IT proficiency.

Desirable Qualifications:
Electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or Apprentice trained).

Additional Desirable: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, preferably in English, Maths, or Science.
Full UK driving license.
Relevant experience; knowledge of the bus industry, CCTV, or electrical is advantageous.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
