Trigon Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales Professional to enhance their International Sales Division within a Grade 2 Ofsted Independent Training Provider.

This pivotal role is essential for driving, supporting, and enhancing the effectiveness of the organization’s International Sales Teams, focusing on revenue generation, profit margins, activity levels, and accountability through precise performance tracking and reporting.

A structured and methodical approach to Sales Management is crucial for success in this position.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with the SALESFORCE CRM system is essential.


The primary focus of the business is to facilitate the international function, which engages foreign students in a variety of programs, including qualifications, summer camps, and work experience opportunities.

The role involves managing a team of six sales professionals to optimize referrals from existing clients and explore new market segments.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Developing and supporting Sales strategies to meet established KPIs, creating clear forward Sales Plans for each Business Development Manager involved in agent sales, including international travel.
  • Individually and collaboratively expanding current key accounts while identifying and securing new accounts with potential for growth.
  • Designing and implementing a tiered account management system to ensure appropriate focus on varying account levels.
  • Managing the Direct Sales team to maximize lead conversion.
  • Continuously refining the Direct Sales process in collaboration with IT and Marketing to enhance customer experience, utilizing technology as necessary.
  • Contributing to the overall Sales Strategy, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Acting as an effective conduit and mentor for structured, action-oriented feedback and learning from field sales to senior management and the Marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the education, travel, or tourism sectors.

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Proven track record in Sales Team Management, emphasizing professional and systematic Sales practices.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and developing team members, both in-office and in-field.
  • Experience in fully utilizing and enhancing CRM systems as a foundational element of Sales Management.
  • Familiarity with CRM and other reporting systems, including co-development of Management Information (MI) and customer experience solutions with IT.
  • Experience managing remote Sales team members.
  • Confidence in creating and delivering professional presentations and management reports to senior leadership.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus but not essential.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Able to balance assertiveness with sensitivity when implementing new practices among both long-standing and new sales team members.

  • Outgoing, personable, and professional, serving as an effective Brand Ambassador to business clients - student travel agents.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
  • Sales revenue and average margins by product line - agent and direct sales.
  • Identification and growth of Key Accounts, including revenue and margin expansion, as well as portfolio diversification (cross-selling).
  • Development of account plans and associated reporting.
  • Recruitment of targeted new key accounts and revenue generation.
  • Achievement of agreed Sales Activity levels for Tiered Account Management.
  • Utilization and reporting from CRM and Class as required.
  • Return on investment from Sales Travel and Exhibition activities.
