Role Summary:

This position serves as a key driver in actualizing our innovative systems. Our Automation Systems Engineers are technical experts, forward-thinking innovators, and adept problem solvers.

This multifaceted role involves developing customized machinery tailored to our clients' requirements, working in a dynamic environment as part of a diverse team of engineers.

Our control team values the fresh insights of recent graduates alongside the seasoned knowledge of experienced professionals.

We seek individuals who are eager to engage, combining technical expertise with strong communication skills and creative problem-solving to deliver projects On Specification, On Budget, and On Time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify control system circuits and associated documentation.
  • Develop and simulate PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software.
  • Configure and commission inverter drives.
  • Review and approve electrical schematics.
  • Verify calculations and system architecture.
  • Conduct functional safety assessments.
  • Evaluate designs against DNV and other relevant standards.
  • Select and procure components for control systems.
  • Contribute to sales proposals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.

Candidate Profile:

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine or hazardous environments.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming for safety and process applications.
  • Hands-on experience in on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of DNV certification processes is a plus.
  • Experience with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments is desirable.

Additional Information:

  • Successful candidates will be based at our headquarters, with site work as necessary.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
