Role Responsibilities:

This position serves as a key driver in realizing our innovative systems. Our Automation Systems Engineers are technical experts, forward-thinking innovators, and adept problem solvers.

This multifaceted role involves developing customized machinery tailored to our clients' requirements, working in a dynamic environment as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Our control team is diverse, and we appreciate the fresh insights of recent graduates as much as the seasoned knowledge of experienced professionals.

We seek individuals who are eager to engage, combining technical expertise with strong communication skills and creative problem-solving to deliver projects on specification, within budget, and on schedule.

Your Key Duties:

  • Design and specify control system circuits and associated documentation.
  • Develop and simulate PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software.
  • Configure and commission inverter drives.
  • Review and approve electrical schematics.
  • Verify calculations and system architecture.
  • Conduct functional safety assessments.
  • Evaluate designs against DNV and other relevant standards.
  • Select and procure components for control systems.
  • Contribute to sales proposals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Open-minded with a strong desire to learn.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborative team player with a comprehensive perspective.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine or hazardous environments.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming for safety and process applications.
  • Hands-on experience in on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of DNV certification processes is a plus.
  • Experience with SIL is desirable.

Additional Information:

  • Successful candidates will be based at our headquarters, with site work as necessary.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
