About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding field of nursing that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As a SACT nurse, you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing your knowledge of nursing practice relevant to the clinical area.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
- Implement and evaluate patient care, ensuring that it is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Document and report patient care, including observations, results, and decisions.
- Respond to emergency situations, maintaining patient safety and seeking immediate support when needed.
We are looking for a nurse who is:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Hold a UK recognised degree in nursing relevant to the post.
- Articulate and knowledgeable of skills needed to deliver a high standard of care in the area of practice.
- Able to document observations, results, decisions, and actions effectively in patient's notes and communicate these effectively to appropriate members of the multi-disciplinary team.
