We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Worker to join our team at DCT Recruitment. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our care home renovation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Support skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, by providing assistance with tasks and projects.
  • Operate tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and construction vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following site-specific safety protocols.
  • Receive goods and materials, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the welfare center, including brushing and mopping floors, and emptying bins.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.

Requirements:

  • CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is mandatory for this role.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
