Job Title – Premix Operator (SHE Lead)

Job Model – On Site
We are seeking a skilled Premix Operator to join our team in the Premix Department. As a Premix Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our premix equipment, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting the SHE Department in their efforts to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial operations, with experience in maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain premix equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow production schedules and procedures to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment, as needed.
- Pack and load products according to prescribed standards.
- Conduct visual process observations and report findings to supervisors.
- Solve non-routine problems and adjust equipment as directed.
- Clean equipment and plant, as required.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in preventative maintenance.
- Prepare and isolate equipment for maintenance.
- Perform tasks in the dispensary, label room, and control room.
SHE Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the Premix Department.
- Participate in site audits to ensure compliance with DSM standards.
- Collaborate with regional and global SHE functions to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with incident investigations and train colleagues on emergency response.
- Participate in SHE toolbox meetings and site DICI meetings.
- Maintain the site observation program.

You Bring
- A health and safety qualification (minimum IOSH or equivalent) and relevant industrial experience.
- ADR/Dangerous Goods, COMAH, DSEAR, ATEX knowledge and experience would be desirable.
- Effective administrative skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent communication skills, and keen attention to detail.
