Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm / 12.30pm on Friday

About the Opportunity:

Torque Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client, a leading precision-engineered component manufacturer. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our client's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Conduct thorough investigations to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed investigations to drive continuous improvement and prevent future quality issues.
  • Prepare and Author Reports: Develop and submit high-quality reports, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, to ensure compliance and precision.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with teams to implement quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain Quality Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of quality investigations and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to Quality Excellence: Uphold and advance quality standards, contributing to our client's reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on NCRs, customer complaints, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct detailed investigations and produce clear, comprehensive reports.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive Mindset: A keen attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
