Role Overview: As the Lead Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for steering the entire marketing department, leading a diverse team that includes a Marketing Executive, Trade Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, and PR specialist, along with a collaborative relationship with the Ecommerce & Growth Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with overarching business objectives, focusing on enhancing brand awareness, consideration, and loyalty.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, and market trends in the UK and Ireland to craft and execute a disruptive 360-degree marketing strategy.
- Direct the creative vision and design of the brand across various media channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values.
- Facilitate communication of marketing initiatives across the organization to ensure a unified brand experience.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to create impactful trade marketing initiatives and present brand strategies during client engagements.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with influencers and complementary brands to enhance brand visibility.
- Work in tandem with the E-commerce Manager to achieve targets through optimized user experience, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and content strategy.
- Identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements, leading these initiatives from concept to execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a small to medium-sized enterprise.
- Proven expertise in trade marketing across various retail channels.
- Demonstrated success in brand development and activation.
- Experience in executing omni-channel marketing strategies, both online and offline.
- Ability to devise and implement strategic marketing plans with a creative approach.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking capabilities.
