Role Overview
At Northumbria Police, we believe in the strength of our community. It takes a diverse group of individuals with various skills and experiences to effectively serve our region. If you are ready to make a meaningful impact, consider joining our Estates Department as an Estates Project Coordinator.
In this role, you will oversee and execute assigned projects, ensuring they adhere to established standards of quality, timelines, and budget constraints. Your focus will be on aligning all projects with operational policing needs and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute project management, technical, health and safety, and contractual responsibilities for assigned projects.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices affecting the Estates Section.
- Identify and engage with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the project team comprehensively understands operational and technical requirements.
- Develop individual project option assessments, feasibility studies, business proposals, and board documentation.
- Create project briefs and specifications that consistently meet the operational needs of the organization.
- Manage both design and construction contracts from the initiation of the procurement process to project completion, ensuring contractor performance is monitored through KPIs and continuous improvement practices.
